The Vibe & Setting: Romantic Vineyard Magic
Set against the scenic backdrop of Waiheke, Sophie and Greg’s day was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and personal touches. From a private first look before the ceremony to custom DIY signage, a lively champagne tower, and a special appearance by their dog, Rufus, every detail reflected their relaxed, joy-filled approach to the day.

Sophie’s Look: Fresh, Luminous & Romantic
The Hair: Sophie opted for one of our most requested styles of the season: a timeless half-up, half-down hairstyle. It offered soft, romantic movement around her shoulders while keeping her hair neatly secured away from her face for a polished finish all day long.
The Makeup: Her look was all about our signature natural, glowy finish. We focused on fresh, hydrated skin with soft dimensional sculpting, delicate eye definition, and a soft nude lip that complemented her Kate Gubanyi Bridal gown seamlessly.
The Bridesmaids: Custom Up-Dos & Chocolate Chic
Tailored Hair Styling: Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, each of Sophie's bridesmaids opted for various up-dos tailored to suit their individual dress styles and necklines.
Rich Colour Palette: The bridal party wore stunning chocolate brown dresses; a rich, trending tone that provided a gorgeous, earthy contrast against the vineyard backdrop and made the beauty details pop.
Highlights & Personal Touches
A Calming "First Look": Sharing a private moment together before the ceremony helped settle pre-wedding nerves and allowed Sophie and Greg to join their guests for cocktail hour sooner.
Playful Reception Moments: Instead of traditional speeches, the couple opted for a hilarious round of the Shoe Game run by one of the bridesmaids, setting a fun, lighthearted tone for the reception.
